Interior & Exterior Painting in Walnut Grove

Prep first, color second: holes patched, gloss dulled and bare spots primed on walls, trim, cabinets and exterior surfaces, with outdoor days set by the weather.

Fresh paint finish on a home

Paint Lasts as Long as the Prep

A finish coat only looks as good as the surface under it. Filling holes, patching cracks, dulling gloss and priming bare spots take more of the job than the color itself, and they're the steps most often rushed.

Inside, floors and furniture are covered and each room is left tidy when the crew goes home. Outside, the schedule follows the forecast, because paint applied in wet or cold weather doesn't cure the way it should.

Surfaces We Paint

  • Interior Walls and Ceilings

Holes filled, cracks patched, gloss dulled and bare spots primed, then finish coats on walls, ceilings and trim in the sheen you choose.

  • Cabinets

Cabinet boxes and doors degreased, scuffed, primed and painted, a sensible option when the construction is sound and only the look has aged.

  • Exterior Walls and Trim

Trim, fascia, shutters, doors and the house's outer walls scraped, repaired where needed and primed before painting, timed around dry weather.

Worth Knowing First

  • The Age of the Paint

Paint applied before 1978 can contain lead. Sanding or scraping it calls for lead-safe prep, so the build year of the house shapes the steps we plan and the time they take.

  • Painting Inside a Bigger Job

When painting rides along with a larger remodel, it comes last on the schedule, after the work that makes dust is done.

Paint Questions We Hear

How many coats do walls usually need?

Typically a primer plus two finish coats for new drywall or a big color change. A same-color refresh on sound walls may need less. Your scope lists the coats for each surface.

Do you paint exteriors in any weather?

No. Outside work waits for dry wood and moderate temperatures so the coating can cure, which means outdoor days follow the forecast, and updates tell you when weather pushes them.
